This ~27X8X8” lidded vase is lathe-turned and Hollowed from Tree of Heaven. This is the local Tree that everybody loves to hate because it’s Always planted where the birds have planted it, Not where you want it. It’s in front of your picture Window, in the middle of the fenceline, growing Under the porch or lifting the sidewalk. But, the Grain is open and I filled it with black pigment, Sanded it back and then used a clearcoat poly Finish to make it gorgeous, cleanable, functional. You could put the entire blue prints for your castle Inside it, keeping it safe forever. Signed by jsbarany

When I asked my son—who was working as a Waiter to put himself thru school—“What is The best way to mix a salad?” He answered, “the Human hands, but, you can’t use them due to Health and safety laws.” So, I decided to make Serving utensils carved the shape of the human Hands. Then I put them in a holder vase so they Didn’t end up all beat up in a drawer. Then I added swishy designs on painted fingernails. The birch Utensils are 12” long and the holder Vase is 4X4X12” (also birch). Airbrushed acrylic Transparent paint, clear coating of urethane Buffed to satin. By jsbarany
