SELAH — A 300-foot-long mural promoting racial and ethnic equality is nearly finished. Like a colorful puzzle, it has come together in pieces through careful attention over time. Photo courtesy of Yakima Herald-Republic (article by TAMMY AYER, Yakima Herald-Republic)

Yakima is nestled in foothills of the Cascade Mountain Range in Eastern Washington. The city itself and surrounding towns are easy to identify by the two hill “gaps,” carved out by the Yakima River.

Yakima Avenue and South 2nd Street – The sculpture “Transcendence” by Bernard Hosey, was the last work of this internationally known artist from Twisp.

You’ll find a great combination of Wine, Beer, Music, and Art on the walls in many of the local tasting and tap rooms. Link Here for a list of local venues & shows.

See many artists displayed in local restaurants and tasting rooms. Here you can enjoy your favorite food, wine, and make your Yakima Art Connection at the same time!
