More about Yakima
Make your Yakima Art Connection at our parks, on walkways, in restaurants, museums, galleries, and local events all throughout the year.
Yakima Area artists have so much to offer so keep watch and check back often – you’ll find local art is everywhere!
Where is Yakima?
Yakima is nestled in foothills of the Cascade Mountain Range, in Eastern Washington. Yakima and surrounding towns are easy to identify by the two hill “gaps,” carved out by the Yakima River on it’s way to the Mighty Columbia.
See many artists displayed in local restaurants and tasting rooms where you can enjoy your favorite food, wine, and make your Yakima Art Connection at the same time!
The Yakima Valley is a budding artisan community, however, it is also know for it’s agricultural acreage that includes over 11,000 in vineyards, 66,000 in apples, 13,000 in cherries, and over 35,000 in hops.
You’ll find a great combination of Wine, Beer, Music, and Art on the walls in many of the local tasting and tap rooms. Link Here for a list of local venues & shows.
To add notices of a local valley event, please let us know. Exposure and promotion of the Yakima Art Scene is key to supporting Yakima Artists. We are always ready to list Yakima Valley and surrounding area events at no charge to you.
